Demonstrations & events

Throughout the year, the park hosts events that bring history to life through demonstrations and interactive experiences.

Visitors may experience:

  • Tractor pulls and machinery demonstrations

  • Threshing, plowing, and wood-cutting demonstrations

  • Tours of buildings and exhibits

Annual events include the Spring Tractor Pull, the Summer Exposition, and the Fall Harvest event.

Collections & Artifacts

The Society’s collections include a wide range of items used by pioneers and early residents of the region.

These include:

  • Antique tractors, vehicles, and farm machinery

  • Tools and equipment used in agriculture and daily life

  • Household and community artifacts

These items are preserved not just for display, but to help visitors understand how earlier generations lived and worked.

Historic Buildings

The park features a growing collection of historic and replica buildings that reflect rural Alberta life.

Examples include:

  • Ohrn House

  • Dniester School

  • St. John’s Lutheran Church

  • Train Station

  • Gas Station

  • Blacksmith Shop

Many of these buildings have been donated and restored, while others have been carefully constructed to represent structures from the past.
