Throughout the year, the park hosts events that bring history to life through demonstrations and interactive experiences.
Visitors may experience:
Tractor pulls and machinery demonstrations
Threshing, plowing, and wood-cutting demonstrations
Tours of buildings and exhibits
Annual events include the Spring Tractor Pull, the Summer Exposition, and the Fall Harvest event.
Collections & Artifacts
The Society’s collections include a wide range of items used by pioneers and early residents of the region.
These include:
Antique tractors, vehicles, and farm machinery
Tools and equipment used in agriculture and daily life
Household and community artifacts
These items are preserved not just for display, but to help visitors understand how earlier generations lived and worked.
Historic Buildings
The park features a growing collection of historic and replica buildings that reflect rural Alberta life.
Examples include:
Ohrn House
Dniester School
St. John’s Lutheran Church
Train Station
Gas Station
Blacksmith Shop
Many of these buildings have been donated and restored, while others have been carefully constructed to represent structures from the past.
