Throughout the year, the park hosts events that bring history to life through demonstrations and interactive experiences.

Visitors may experience:

  • Tractor pull competitions and machinery demonstrations

  • Threshing, plowing, and wood-cutting demonstrations

  • World-class displays and exhibits

  • Guided tours of buildings and exhibits

Annual highlights include the Spring Fire-Up,July Exposition, and Fall Harvest Event—along with special programming hosted in partnership with regional organizations.

Collections & Artifacts

The park’s collections are displayed throughout multiple historic buildings, creating an immersive experience where visitors can explore how people lived, worked, and built communities across rural Alberta.

Many artifacts have been generously donated by families, collectors, and organizations, ensuring that important pieces of local and regional history are preserved and shared.

Leduc West History Park features a range of exhibits and partner installations that highlight different aspects of rural Alberta and prairie life. These exhibits combine permanent displays, specialized collections, and working spaces that are often active during events and demonstrations.

  • All Canadian Moving Systems Trucking History Museum – Showcasing the evolution of trucking and its role in shaping Western Canada’s economy and transportation networks

  • Schaffrick’s Ford Building – A look at early automotive history and the impact of vehicles on rural communities

  • Hooper Building - Houses The Howard Lengert Rolls Royce Collection and the Mechanical Music Museum which are simply world class

  • Western Canadian Blacksmith Guild – A working blacksmith space featuring live demonstrations and classes

  • Graham Building – Home to specialized displays connected to our agricultural and mechanical history

  • Edmonton Power Historical Foundation – Interactive exhibits exploring the development of electrical power and infrastructure in Alberta

  • Clinton Coyne Hayes Truck Collection - Canadian made legendary power used in the wildest parts of the world.
